Job Description:

Aveanna Healthcare, a leading national provider of home healthcare and pediatric therapy, is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for our Private Duty Nurse Nights opportunity. This position involves providing advanced in-home nursing care to pediatric patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. Provide direct and efficient in-home nursing care to pediatric patients. Follow a specific care plan for patients as directed by the supervising RN or doctor. Administer medications, monitor vitals, and quickly identifying any adverse responses. Maintain patient health records accurately and ensuring confidentiality. Communicate regularly with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and appropriate management of patient care. Educate patients and their families on management of illnesses and about maintaining health and wellness. Proficient in providing pediatric nursing care Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Skill in administering medications and providing treatment Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current LVN license in the state of practice CPR certified Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
