Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in the provision of in-home nursing
and therapy services, is seeking a compassionate and skilled
Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-acuity care to patients in
their homes during the night shift. This role is critical in
ensuring the continuity of care and comfort for patients requiring
intensive nursing interventions outside of the traditional
healthcare setting. The successful candidate will administer
prescribed medications, monitor critical signs, and manage complex
medical equipment, while also providing emotional support and
expert care tailored to individual patient needs. Administer
medications, track vitals, and execute physician-directed care
plans. Operate and monitor medical equipment such as ventilators
and infusion pumps. Assess patient's condition during every visit
and chart your observations. Educate patients and their families on
disease processes, medical procedures, and other pertinent health
issues. Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare
professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Effectively manage
emergency situations so acute care is seamless and effective.
Expertise in high-acuity patient care Skillful management of
medical equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and compassionate interpersonal skills
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
BLS/ACLS certification.
