Job RoleThe Business Operations & Governance Team within Global
Production Management Organization is looking for an experienced
Workforce Analyst with Business Analytics & Financial background.
The candidate will be responsible for leading the effort on
efficient workforce management, reporting / analyzing data and
driving resource capacity and demand governance globally.
Optimizing processes for driving efficiency, maintaining internal
controls, benchmark setting, SLA performance and employee
satisfaction while identifying areas of improvement will be a key
focus.The Workforce Business Analyst is responsible for performing
end-to-end analysis, execution, management, oversight and reporting
for workforce demand and capacity within the supported
organizations, across all locations including collaborating on
Demand / Capacity Management for workforce across the globe based
on Demand Volume fluctuations while driving productivity across the
Organization.The Workforce Business Analyst will also collaborate
with regional leads on the monthly/ quarterly workforce governance
for all regions across the globe to provide deep insights into
workforce metrics, productivity and financial impacts.The role
relies on developed skill sets and training; however, must always
utilize inherent decision-making abilities to address issues, gap
identification and remediation plans to drive an efficient
workforce in a volume-based business. The candidate also has the
onus and skill set to identify and propose improvement
possibilities and actions required in proactive response to
evolving needs.Job Functions/ResponsibilitiesThe functions of this
role include, but are not limited to:
- Engagement with VP, SVP, Director and MD Officer Levels in
discussions regarding workforce management as a subject matter
expert to provide workforce reporting/ analytics insights affecting
the organization.
- Collaborate with Third Party Management Lead on Workforce
requirement to meet contractual obligations.
- Key resource in Demand Management to estimate workforce
requirements and current capacity capabilities. Deliver to a
customer centric goal with financial justification. -
- Enable and support the leadership team by providing operational
insights through scheduling reviews to ensure alignment to business
demands
- Gathering, compiling and analyzing data in order to extract
information from various Data platforms to perform analysis at the
country, regional, global based on resource type.
- Management of reporting structures and metrics used for
tracking, management oversight, process effectiveness & performance
of the Workforce.
- Forecast work volume, productive effort, staff shrinkage by
work type, and makes staffing recommendations to enhance workforce
management and organization goal performance.
- Proactively analyzes inputs and oversees implementation of
continuously improved forecasts and plans; measures performance,
identifies opportunities, and makes recommendations to achieve KPI
metrics.
- Researches and recommends performance and efficiency
improvement processes and changes.
- Support Line managers and Regional managers on resource
requirements, documentation and procurement follow-ups.
- Communicating -regularly with other departments and key
participants to resolve intra-departmental process gaps or breaks,
fostering the building of strong, trusting relationships.
- Maintaining, creating/updating process documentation
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in key processes,
driving strategic workforce initiatives and implementing
enhancements.
- Identifying operational issues, investigating for root cause,
identifying and developing improvements, driving implementation and
or remediation.
- Partnering with teams to ensure seamless implementation of
enhancements, or remediation efforts or handover of new functions
within the Production Management organization
- Setting personal and project goals, which add value to the
Global Governance function while taking accountability for assigned
projects.
- Training team members, provision of internal
mentoring/coaching, perform advisory role as SME in Workforce
matters
- Conducting and facilitating initiatives to develop and
implement proactive solutions to future -operational
challenges.
- Acting as an interdepartmental resource to explain Workforce
and Demand/ Capacity management concepts, as needed, in order to
facilitate better oversight and monitoring.Required Skills
- Ability to define metrics, aggregate/ analyze data to create
reports with highest level of accuracy. Certain percentage of the
role is to generate reports on a pre-defined cadence and distribute
to various organizations.
- Financial understanding of Cost structure in corporate
environment in a Technology Organization.
- Must be able to example and apply active governance and
workforce methodologies to roles and functions supported.
- Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Products, IE- Excel,
Word, etc.
- Intermediate/Expert level ability to perform database queries
and extract necessary data.
- Ability to productively work with minimal or no direct
supervision
- Working ability to communicate with all management levels
within an organization, credibility and ability to influence
leaders
- Analytical and critical thought required to resolve issues in a
variety of complex situations, without supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to
provide high level updates to senior management, and work with the
regional support teams to get results
- Customer Service skills required
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile,
etc.) desired
- Demonstrable ability to identify, implement and maintain
"value-add" improvements and efficiency ideas.Position
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree Management Information Sciences, Business
Analytics or related course of study or equivalent skill-set and
demonstrable experience.
- 3 years working within a technology environment
- 2+ years working with Data with respect to mining, warehousing,
analyzing & reporting
- Preferred experience in Workforce management for a Global
Organization.
- Preferred Vendor Management experience with respect to SOW,
Fixed Pricing, Managed Capacity or hybrids. -
- Preferred Financial understanding within a Cost center
organization
- Proven experience in directly managing projects and initiatives
to closure successfully.
- Proven experience in providing high level reporting to senior
management
- Proven ability to develop efficient and effective
processes
- Proven experience partnering with global and regional support
teams
- Bilingual skills preferred
- Demonstratable experience performing analytics and
reporting
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, ability to
think strategically and logically
- Experience providing detailed analysis
- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and perform
multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with
multiple audiences (staff, business partners, management) to ensure
the highest level of customer
