About the Job:

The Physical Therapy Technician will assist the Physical Therapist with patient visits. The Technician will increase provider effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity for improved patient care and satisfaction.

What will you be doing:

Performs/assists with PT treatments under the direct, on-site supervision of a PT/PTA
Keeps linens, dressing rooms, bathrooms, beverages, towel stocked and workout areas ready for continued therapy use.
Know the essential job responsibilities of all clerical staff and be able to assist them including batch payments, scanning and attaching documents, updating plan of care as needed.
Completes all opening and closing procedures in a timely manner.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED is Required.
3 years of experience in the PT environment.
Must understand medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, grammar, and word-processing software.
CPR is required prior to first day of employment. Assistance is provided in obtaining certification.

Schedule:

40 hours a week
