Field Technician 80% travel

We have been retained by our excellent client in Mansfield,
Texas to deliver a few Field Service Technicians, on a full-time
direct hire basis, where the direct-hire salary is 36,000 per year
base salary, plus a year-end bonus, plus performance bonus and
excellent benefits, 401k matching, and paid vacation. Base plus
bonus to 40K and up to 44K per year if performing well in the

to travel up to 80-90 at times is required. Working away from home
for two weeks at a time, returning home to the DFW area. If you
want to stay in the field more than 2 weeks at a time you can, and
earn more, but not required. This job requires staying motivated,
or self-motivated. This job requires some mechanical skills, basic
computer skills, mental persistence and some physical dexterity or
a little physical fitness. You will get some exercise. You will
meet new people and see new places. Excellent company,

predictable and stable. The first location is Mississippi by
company vehicle. Work in the field at least 2-weeks at a time. This
Mississippi project location will continue for about the 4 months.
You will work with company truck, company cell phone, company
laptop. All meals, travel, gas, hotel are 100 paid by the company.
Progress from house to house and from street to street of
residential addresses of subdivisions. Maintain a pace to meet the
planned field target installs needed and maintain at least the
minimum quality of work in the removal and replacement of devices.
Travel to residential homes, walk to each home, working outdoors
and be expected to remove devices and replace devices. This
requires finding the location in the yard at the residential
address, digging in the dirt with spade or shovel to find the
device location in the ground, break open or crack open the device
cover or shroud to get access to the device. Remove the device.
There are three types of devices to be removed. Replace with the
new version of the same device type. The device type is determined
by the serial number on device and the same serial number is on the
device cover or shroud. Make sure you check the number on the
device removed and make sure you replace the same device type
number. Record required data with accuracy. Track your progress.
How many registers replaced per day? How many registers of type A
replaced per day? How many registers of type B replaced per day?
Record information of devices replaced and locations residential
addresses. Use company laptop, MS Excel and cell phone to record
information and stay in contact with team when needed. Requirements
Associates degree required. Or military experience including a
DD214. Military experience preferred, but not required. A
willingness to travel up to 80-90 at times is required. Working
away from home for two weeks at a time, returning home to the DFW
area. This job requires staying motivated, or self-motivated. This
job requires some basic mechanical skills, persistence and some
physical dexterity or a little physical fitness, and must able to
frequently bend and lift items up to 50 lbs. at times. A clean
driving record and a valid drivers license and the ability to pass
a criminal background check is required. A high degree of travel is
required, occasionally encompassing weekends to meet operation
schedule. A willingness to utilize somewhat affordable hotels.
Ability to work with your hands with a small shovel, or spade, and
work with tools to crack open cover, remove and replace device. The
ability to simply bend over, on one knee, to lower places to remove
and replace devices. This activity could persist for extended
periods of time, at each location. A keen interest and willingness
and aptitude to quickly learn. Bring a positive can do attitude to
the job, the work, and to learning new processes, procedures,
products and new people, as you traverse each home and street.
Ability to complete work orders utilizing computer and manual data
entry methods. Basic computer skills with a strong tendency towards
Microsoft Excel. Good written, verbal, and telephone communication
skills. You will be given a company vehicle, company laptop,
company Credit Card and company cell phone while on company
business and business travel. When travelling, you may be required
to stay away for most likely a maximum of two weeks at a time or
some other agreed time, returning home to DFW area. All reasonable
travel expenses incurred while in the pursuit of business are 100
company paid, i.e. Lodginghotels, meals, fuel, airfare, etc.)
Employment Type Regular Full-Time Compensation 40,000 to 44,000 per
year plus Benefits 36,000 per year base salary + 8 annual year end
bonus + productivity bonus Benefits life, health, dental, vision,
