The Senior Campus Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for
creating and executing a talent acquisitions strategy for positions
designed for technical school and university graduates. This
position will build relationships and network to ensure we have a
strong connection with targeted schools that align with the
company's strategic talent needs. The Talent Acquisition team works
in the office 3 days per week, with the option to work remote 2
days.
Manage employer brand strategy and recruiting strategies for
technical high school and university level positions working with
Marketing and the Social Media Team to develop new brand
initiatives that aligns to the early career talent.
Collect university and technical school data and collaborate with
hiring managers to identify target schools for strategic
relationships within Engineering, Product Development, Supply
Chain, Marketing, IT, etc. that match our culture, hiring needs,
and goals.
Build and maintain relationships with career service offices,
deans, instructors and student groups with targeted schools and
specific programs consistent with talent strategies.
Screen, interview, and assess candidates for graduate level job
opening/requisitions.
Schedule and be a part of the interview process with the respective
hiring team. Perform timely interview debrief meetings with hiring
team to evaluate and select candidates to ensure recruiting metrics
(i.e. time-to-fill, resumes to hiring mangers, etc.) are met.
Network with students and interns to build robust early career
talent pipeline.
Coordinate background checks and new-hire drug testing for
qualified candidates.
Act as a consistent point of contact for candidates during hiring
process to ensure timely feedback and an optimal experience.
Submit offer request for review and approval. Follow-up with
candidate regarding offer details.
Work closely with the compensation team and local human resource
representative in order to review compensation and scheduled new
employee orientation.
Complete weekly reports on employment activity.
Assist in development and modification of developmental roles for
graduates.
Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of
work.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related business curriculum
and three (3) years of recruiting experience are required. SHRM
Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified
Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential is preferred. Knowledge of human
resources practices, laws, and regulations and experience with
application tracking software (Dayforce) is preferred. Must be
willing and able to travel at least two (2) weeks per month,
primarily during Fall/Spring. Must be physically able to stand at
job fairs (up to 8 hours) and lift and set up materials for
events.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and
PowerPoint). Ability to effectively communicate, both written and
verbal, with all levels of the organization across multiple
locations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with
attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to provide the highest
level of customer service to internal (i.e. employees) and external
customers (i.e. candidates).
Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger,
handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and
arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or
hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or
move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by
the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust
focus.
