Fleet Manager (Full-Time) Waco, Houston, and Waxahachie, TX
United Clearing Services, founded in 2021, provides critical
vegetation management, emergency restoration services, and
right-of-way tree trimming for utility companies across Texas. Our
work focuses on maintaining safe clearance around utility
infrastructure through professional tree trimming, growth
regulation, and vegetation mitigation, helping reduce the risk of
outages and infrastructure damage caused by wind, storms, decay,
and overgrowth. We take pride in delivering safe, high-quality, and
cost-effective services while maintaining a strong team-first and
safety-focused culture. We are currently seeking a Fleet Manager to
oversee the operation, maintenance, and compliance of our
specialized fleet supporting field operations across our Waco,
Houston, and Waxahachie locations. This role ensures our crews have
safe, reliable, and well-maintained equipment available for daily
operations and storm response and may require occasional travel
between locations for inspections or operational support. The ideal
candidate will have proven experience in fleet or operations
management, preferably in utilities, vegetation management, or
transportation environments, along with strong knowledge of DOT
regulations, compliance requirements, and fleet management
software. Candidates should also hold a relevant degree or industry
certification (such as CAFM or CAFS) and have at least three years
of experience managing fleets that include Class 6–8 trucks, aerial
lift equipment, and specialized hydraulic machinery. ? What We

(EAP) ? Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily fleet operations,
ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and ANSI Z133 regulations -
Manage maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections for all
vehicles and heavy equipment - Optimize logistics, routing, and
vehicle utilization across multiple job sites - Supervise
dispatching activities to ensure timely delivery of equipment -
Lead, mentor, and develop the fleet service team - Maintain vehicle
records, titles, registrations, liens, and fuel/purchasing card
programs - Manage driver compliance, including qualification files,
medical certificates, MVRs, Hours-of-Service, and random
drug/alcohol testing - Foster a culture of safety, accountability,
and continuous improvement Top Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree
in Business, Logistics, or related field (preferred) - Proven
experience in fleet or operations management, preferably in
utilities or transportation - Strong knowledge of DOT regulations,
compliance, and fleet management software - Leadership experience
managing teams and projects remotely - Excellent communication,
problem-solving, and organizational skills - Comfortable working in
office and outdoor settings, including occasional inspections ??
Working Conditions: - Primarily office-based, with site visits for
inspections and meetings - Must be able to travel to facilities or
job sites as needed - Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs, climbing, or
vehicle inspections - Full-time availability required, including
