Job Description:
Oracle Architect The Oracle Architect is responsible for working
and collaborating with the Oracle Team (onshore/offshore) in
Information Services. The team is responsible for supporting and
implementing new functionality as well as supporting existing
functionality within our Oracle HCM and ERP modules. The team
focuses on delivering solid (internal) customer service while
providing comprehensive solutions to support our Finance and HR
teams. The Oracle Architect will establish relationships and work
with other Oracle team members, Directors, Executives and Business
Managers to ensure value-added requirements are met in a timely
manner. The Architect will assist in interviewing, training, and
mentoring Oracle Team (onshore/offshore) in Information Services.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Execute the day-to-day activities of Oracle Cloud Technical
engagements for internal customers including process design,
implementation lifecycle support, and project reviews.
- Identify and manage new Oracle release changes and collaborate
with other team members to make recommendations based on the needs
of the organization.
- Participate in planning to ensure resource alignment within IT
effectively and efficiently.
- Exhibit time management and organization skills, works with
limited supervision; makes independent decisions, and is detailed
and thorough in work habits with the ability to multi-task.
- Maintain expert level knowledge of latest technologies stack,
that range from the traditional architectures to micro services and
cloud enabled architectures.
- Lead the development and design of latest Oracle ERP and HCM
cloud solutions optimization related to information technology
operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for
the applications.
- Identify, manage, and ensure the success of new Oracle release
changes while collaborating with other team members. This should
include making recommendations based on the needs of the
organization.
- Identify and champion competitive services, opportunities for
innovation, and provide an assessment of obstacles and technical
hurdles to the success of the project.
- Ability to work effectively on multiple priorities with strict
deliverable dates. This includes motivating and coaching team
members to do the same as well.
- Support, drive and constantly look for ways to improve the
evolution of the Oracle development methodology including
development and documentation standards, testing procedures,
quality assurance and change management.
- Proactively maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology
standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software
development best practices.
- Drive and facilitate the Oracle (HCM and ERP) strategy to
stakeholders to achieve cross-organizational alignment.
- Drives and takes ownership of the efficient utilization of
human resources to include assignment, performance, and training of
department.
- Mentor and coach onshore / offshore specialists while leading
in technical design and having oversight of Oracle projects.
- Facilitate collaborative sessions with cross-functional teams
to understand the application integrations and architect the
solution that fits the needs for all scenarios.
- Assists in the interview and evaluation process of potential
new hires.
- Maintains trusted relationships with HR and Finance. This
includes a strong emphasis on cultivating relationships with
primary stakeholders.
- Responsible for reviewing and ensuring quality delivery of the
work assignments across the team and serves as a liaison between IS
and the business. SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Expert in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle,
including system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and
documentation.
- Exceptionally self-motivated, strong interpersonal and
communication skills.
- Strong vendor relationship management experience required.
- Strong ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented
environment.
- Strong ability to work creatively and analytically in a
problem-solving environment. EDUCATON & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration
or related field required. Graduate degree in related discipline
preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience implementing and configuring
packaged Oracle modules in Fusion and / or EBS, with 8 years of
experience specifically implementing and configuring Oracle
Fusion.
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on architecture experience.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a Techno/Functional role
implementing and/or supporting Payroll and Benefits.
- Minimum 4 years of vendor relationship management experience
required.
- Experience in at least Oracle R13 or newer, required.
- Experience using HCM Extract and BI Publisher, strongly

Key Technical Skills: Oracle Fusion platform w/ Payroll, Benefits,
and Compensation Modules (Oracle Fusion Release 13, and currently
doing Update 22A) Description of Role:
- Techno-functional lead/architect working with multiple internal
teams
- Must be a leader/self-starter with ability to take on and
manage multiple projects and initiatives independently
- Must be able to quickly establish and maintain rapport and
relationships with key internal managers and team
- Important to be discreet and maintain confidentiality given the
work with sensitive HR & financial data
- Work with internal business users and understand needs across
HR, finance, accounting, payroll, etc.
- Must be able to be hands-on, jump in and fix issues, deal with
any problems.
- Supported by India-based development team w/ 24-hr
coverage
- Have upcoming projects on compensation, benefits integration
for Mexico employees, and Kronos timekeeping Hours/Schedule:
Primarily work core business hours (8a-5p) and be available to
handle issues as needed. Not excessive "overtime". Employment
