We are currently looking for a Technical Solutions Specialist to be
located in our Mansfield, TX office.
The Technical Solutions Specialist will work under limited
supervision of the Director IT Services and will be responsible for
the research, recommendation, and implementation of
technology-based solutions to enhance productivity, performance,
and security for the organization. In addition, the Technical
Solutions Specialist will recommend timing and process for applying
feature and quality updates, assist with asset image updates and
software deployments, and provide input on department standards and
Specific Responsibilities will include:
- Research, recommend and implement process or technical
solutions to enhance productivity, performance, and security for
- Evaluate end-user software and hardware requests for
compatibility with equipment and security standards.
- Educate users on services, productivity tips, and software
solutions using various methods including webinars, videos, and
- Develop and execute a plan to apply Windows feature, quality
updates and security patches to end-user assets.
- Assist with planning and executing software deployment packages
using the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Recommend updates to asset images and upgrades to new computer
models as needed.
- Create and recommend policy and standard updates to
continuously improve department services.
- Provide support, procedures, and guidance to the team in
regards to the setup and maintenance of PC and Mac hardware.
- Assist with the resolution of end-user requests as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualified Applicants will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field
and a minimum of five (5) years of experience working in
Information Technology is required. Experience with Microsoft
Products (i.e. Office Suite, OneDrive, Windows, SCCM), audio/video
conferencing, networking and information security basics is
required. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Advanced
Threat Protection, asset management software, and Help Desk
ticketing system is preferred.
Ability to analyze, recommend, and implement solutions. Ability to
collaborate effectively with others within the department to
deliver secure and stable solutions. Ability to multi-task and
prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Must be willing to work independently with minimal supervision as
well as in a team environment.
Up to 10% travel a year (3 days per month) may be required.
Physical Demand Requirements:
Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger,
handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and
arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or
hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or
move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by
