Partner with sector president(s) and vice president of human resources to contribute to the design and effective implementation of key HR strategies across the business unit. Collaborate with operations leadership to address HR implications of policy and practice changes within the business.Strategic Activities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business strategy.
• Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and retention of personnel.
• Build strong relationships with business leaders across DSC North America, DHL Supply Chain, and DP DHL to foster collaboration and sharing of best practices.
• Coordinate with DSC North America HR and other functions to consider local issues when developing strategies.
• Stay informed on current affairs, particularly political and social issues within the region, and assess their impact on the business.Employee Relation and Engagement

• Develop strategies to guide senior leadership on personnel matters affecting the organization.
• Oversee initiatives supporting site climate and culture.Growth
  • Manage training related to interviewing, hiring, termination, promotions, performance reviews, safety, and harassment.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to Area HR leaders, actively listening and clarifying issues.
  • Oversee staffing, succession planning, and employee programs.
  • Implement and monitor training and development activities.
  • Drive start-up support initiatives.Compliance
    • Develop procedures to measure and report HR policy compliance.
    • Ensure HR policies comply with laws and best practices.
    • Manage investigations and oversee compensation, benefits, and performance management compliance.Required Education and Experience
      • BS/BA in Human Resources or related field, or minimum 7 years HR experience.
      • 10+ years of HR experience covering major functional areas.
      • Experience partnering with senior management.
      • Proven leadership in organizational change deployment.
      • Experience with HR Metrics and knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
