Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Waco, TX Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $54 to $57 per hour Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Temp - Speech Therapist | Waco, TX | 13 Weeks Location: Waco, Texas (76708) Start Date: 04/20/2026 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Monday – Friday Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Job Summary We are seeking a qualified Speech Therapist for a 13-week rehabilitation therapy assignment in Waco, TX. The therapist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders while working closely with the rehabilitation team to improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide speech and language therapy sessions Monitor patient progress and update care plans accordingly Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff Maintain accurate documentation and therapy records Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and progress Facility & Unit Details Rehabilitation Therapy Setting Speech Therapy specialty Monday–Friday work schedule 36 hours guaranteed per week Requirements Requirements Active Texas Speech Therapist License (must be active at submission) Minimum 1 year of Speech Therapy experience Experience in rehabilitation therapy setting preferred Strong communication and patient care skills
