Celina, TX (zip code 75009) offers small-town charm, beautiful parks, and easy access to Dallas — a great location for travel nurses and cardiac nursing professionals./n /n/nJob Details/n /n - Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 - $2,230/n - Location: Celina, TX 75009 (Dallas metro area)/n - Contract Length: 13 weeks/n - Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:00 - 17:30)/n - Hours per Week: 40/n - On-Call: Required every other week (Monday - Sunday)/n - Weekend Coverage: Required/n - Start Date: April 20, 2026/n - End Date: July 20, 2026/n /n/nJob Requirements / Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization/n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be valid prior to start)/n - ACLS and BLS certifications required/n - Epic charting system experience required/n - Must pass Dysrhythmia Exam (up to 2 attempts allowed prior to start)/n - Ability to complete required online and unit-specific modules (average 8–12 hours) pre-start and during orientation/n /n/nCore Responsibilities/n /n - Assist with cardiac procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, stent placements, pacemaker/ICD insertions, and vascular closure device operations/n - Monitor and manage procedural sedation, IV vasopressors, antiarrhythmics, and emergency medications used in the cath lab/n - Recognize, interpret, and manage dysrhythmias; obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG; assist with cardioversion when indicated/n - Support infection prevention, isolation precautions, and malignant hyperthermia protocols to ensure patient safety in the cath lab/n - Administer blood products, start and maintain IVs, and manage central lines and PICC lines as needed/n - Perform sheath removal, topical hemostasis, and monitoring of vascular closure systems following procedures/n - Adhere to radiation and laser safety protocols to protect patients and staff/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams — physicians, techs, and support staff — to deliver high-quality cardiac care and positive patient outcomes/n /n/n /n This travel nursing opportunity is perfect for Cath Lab RNs and cardiac nurses seeking short-term contracts and travel nurse positions in Celina and the greater Dallas area.
