innovation of ideas. Job Summary and Qualifications - The Emergency
Department Manager is responsible for the supervision, coordination
and evaluation of nursing care provided on the assigned unit(s). -
The Manager also coordinates and supervises the activities for the
unit, which supports the safe and efficient delivery of care. - The
Manager assists the Admin Department Director in the implementation
of Performance Improvement activities, hospital policies/procedures
and in the financial management of the Unit. What qualifications
you will need: - Texas State RN license or compact license
required. - BSN required. - BLS and ACLS required by AHA or ARC. -
PALS or ENPC required within 90 days of hire. - TNCC required
within 18 months of hire. - Advanced specialty certification (i.e.
CEN) encouraged. Experience Required: - Minimum of 3 years
experience in Emergency Services required - 2 years management
experience preferred - Ability to manage ED throughput - Ability to
lead others and provide the "why" behind efforts or change -
