active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is
available for a licensed Physical Therapist to provide specialized
support within a K-12 school setting in Fort Worth, TX. This role
involves delivering direct and consultative therapy services to
students requiring physical therapy due to intellectual
disabilities (ID) and other health impairments (OHI). The position
is district-wide, covering nine campuses, with a caseload that
includes 8 students receiving direct services and 4 students
requiring consultation. Responsibilities: Provide physical therapy
services to students ages K-12, tailored to individual educational
plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary
teams to support student progress and participation in school
activities. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and
document progress in accordance with school and regulatory
standards. Consult with school personnel on best practices and
adaptive techniques to facilitate student access. Maintain
compliance with district policies and state regulations for special
education services. Qualifications: Valid Physical Therapist
license. Experience in school-based physical therapy or pediatric
physical therapy preferred. Ability to manage a caseload of
students with intellectual disabilities and other health
impairments. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple school sites
within the district. Schedule and Location: Contract role located
in Fort Worth, TX. Approximately 6 hours per week. District-wide
