Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel About the Job We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team. In this role, you will evaluate residents and deliver evidence-based rehabilitation services focused on restoring mobility, improving strength and balance, reducing fall risk, and maximizing functional independence. Key Responsibilities - Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans - Deliver hands-on physical therapy interventions including gait training, balance work, strengthening, transfer training, and functional mobility - Treat residents recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or chronic medical conditions - Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate - Provide patient and caregiver education on exercises, fall prevention, and safe mobility - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with SNF regulations and facility policies - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team including nursing, therapy staff, and physicians - Support safe discharge planning and transition of care Qualifications - Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s in Physical Therapy (MPT) from an accredited program - Active PT license in the state of assignment - SNF or post-acute experience preferred - Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and teamwork skills - Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical settings and patient populations - Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care What We Offer - Competitive weekly pay - Housing and travel stipends - Medical, dental, and vision benefits - Dedicated recruiter and clinical support throughout the assignment Towne U.S. LLC Job ID 17861637.
