Registered Nurse (RN) | Endoscopy Location: Dallas, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,863 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - BLS - ACLS - PALS Description: This position requires an on-call schedule, including one weekend a month and one day a week. The unit has 6 procedure rooms and 13 prep/recovery bays. There are 12 staff members on the unit, including 8 nurses and 4 techs for day shifts. Patient ratios are estimated to be 1:1 for procedures and 2:1 for prep/recovery. The equipment used in the unit includes endoscopy machinery with an EMR system. Typical procedures performed include EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy for adults and pediatrics. Candidates must have required certifications, including ACLS and PALS. Floating areas may include IR, PACU, and Day Surgery. The dress code consists of royal blue scrubs. Unit guidelines promote limited phone use, minimal call-ins, and prohibit earbuds.
