performance test passage rate. Summary Objective The Occupational
Health Nurse (OHN) is responsible for promoting and maintaining the
health, safety, and well-being of employees within the workplace.
This role provides nursing care, health education, and wellness
initiatives, while ensuring compliance with occupational health
regulations and company policies. The OHN serves as a key resource
for injury prevention, emergency response, medical case management,
and employee health promotion. Essential Functions Conduct health
assessments, pre-hire screenings, and wellness initiatives.
Administer first aid and emergency care as needed. Maintain
employee health records in compliance with HIPAA and company
policies. Provide immediate care and triage for workplace injuries
or illnesses. Coordinate medical referrals and follow-up care with
outside providers. Support return-to-work programs, including light
duty and accommodations. Manage workers’ compensation claims in
partnership with HR and EHS. Partner with EHS to support OSHA
compliance and workplace safety initiatives. Participate in safety
committees, accident investigations, and risk assessments. Monitor
workplace hazards and recommend preventive health measures. Educate
employees on lifestyle, nutrition, stress management, and
occupational health risks. Develop and implement occupational
health programs aligned with company objectives. Track and report
key health metrics (injury rates, incident trends, wellness
participation). Provide recommendations to leadership to improve
workforce health and safety. Reasonable accommodations may be made

functions. Competencies Strong clinical assessment and triage
skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability
to handle confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in
electronic medical records (EMR) and MS Office Suite. Collaborative
approach to working with HR, EHS, and leadership teams. Work
Environment Most work is performed in an office environment and
plant clinic. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this
job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee
frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or
feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is
occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift
or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move
objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this
job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the
ability to adjust focus. May require walking through manufacturing
environments with noise, heat, and other industrial conditions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position.
Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5
p.m. Flexibility to respond to injuries outside of normal work
hours is required. Travel Local travel between manufacturing
facilities and corporate office. Required Education and Experience.
Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida. 3 years of nursing
experience, preferably in occupational health, emergency, or
industrial/manufacturing settings. Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, HIPAA,
and workers’ compensation regulations. Preferred Education and
Experience Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Certification in
Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S). Work Authorization Must
