Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a leader in home-based care, is looking for
a compassionate and driven Pediatric Occupational Therapist
(OT/COTA) to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to

Evaluate children’s skills and needs and create a comprehensive,
individualized intervention plan to facilitate developmental
progress. Work directly with children in their homes to implement
individual therapy plans focused on improving daily living and
motor skills. Collaborate with families and other medical
professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy. Monitor
patient progress and make adjustments to the therapeutic
interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate
family members or other caregivers on how to support the child’s
developmental goals. Adhere to all state and federal regulations,
and organizational guidelines, maintaining professional and
technical knowledge through attending educational workshops,
reviewing professional publications, and participating in
professional societies. Strong understanding of pediatric
occupational therapy modalities Ability to create and follow
through with individualized treatment plans Exceptional
communication and interpersonal skills High level of compassion and
patience with young patients Medical Insurance Dental Insurance

license in the state of practice National Board for Certification
in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification CPR certification
