Job Description:

Cross Country seeking Day shift Hospitalists for locum coverge in a beautiful area of Texas

Board Certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist

* Shifts available -7am-7pm; 7 days on, 7 days off. - Usually an opportunity to pick up extra shifts if desired.

* - - - -Must be willing to pick up on occasional swing or night shift if needed for coverage purposes due to illness or vacation of Swing (12pm-12am) or Nocturnist (7pm-7am) provider.

-* - - - Daily Coverage: 9-10 physicians & 1 admitting APC (7a-7p); 1 swing shift doc (12p-12a), 1 Nocturnist and 1 Nocturnist APC (7p-7a).

* - On average 18-20 patients per shift per physician. - Mid-to-high acuity of patients seen. - Open ICU

* - - - -Procedures not required but must be comfortable with codes

* - - - -EMR is EPIC

Active TX medical License, DEA TX, ALCS, BLS - , Prefer no claims history.
