Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opening
opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
to support an elementary school setting in Arlington, TX. This
contract role will cover an FMLA absence from ASAP through February
27, 2026, working approximately 25 hours per week across Tuesday
through Thursday. The position includes potential attendance at
Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings. Key
Responsibilities: - Provide speech-language therapy services to
elementary-aged students in accordance with Individualized
Education Plans (IEPs). - Conduct comprehensive evaluations and
progress monitoring to inform instructional strategies. -
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to
support student communication goals. - Participate in ARD meetings
and offer professional recommendations regarding student services.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school
district policies. Desired Qualifications: - Valid Speech-Language
Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence
(SLP-CCC). - Experience working as a school-based SLP, preferably
with elementary students. - Ability to deliver services onsite
within the school environment. - Familiarity with ARD processes and
school special education protocols. - Strong communication and
organizational skills. Location: Arlington, TX (Onsite) This
assignment is ideal for a licensed SLP seeking a short-term,
professional contract role within a supportive school setting.
